Julia Clayton is a digital designer and medical marketing professional with a strong foundation in traditional arts, specializing in 3D renderings and illustrations. She is skilled in web and graphic design with strengths in brand identity and art direction. She has also maintained a successful career in ophthalmology for over two decades.
EXPERIENCE:
Her love of creating architectural illustrations and ongoing interest in digital design inspired Julia to explore the technical side of 3D photorealism in environmental design and architecture. She has experience using SketchUp Pro, Twinmotion, Unreal Engine, Blender and V-Ray, and Adobe Premiere Pro to name a few. She has been able to merge her creative skills seamlessly into the needs of many ophthalmology clinics and organizations over the years by way of digital marketing, social media content creation and various visual media projects.
PASSION:
Julia, being a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community and a neurodiverse woman of color, is deeply passionate about advocating for inclusion, diversity, and human rights. Additionally, with over 20 years of dedication to ophthalmology, she has gained invaluable experience in caring for the visually impaired demographic, fostering a profound understanding of their challenges and needs and creating opportunities to volunteer with various special needs organizations.
GOALS:
Julia aspires to leverage her expertise in ophthalmology and her passion for inclusive design to develop solutions that cater to the unique needs of diverse communities, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for all. She seeks to collaborate with companies that share her values, eager to expand her knowledge and contribute to accessible and inclusive design practices.
Julia resides in Oklahoma with her 12-year-old daughter, photographer boyfriend, and their family pup. She and her family enjoy traveling, finding adventure wherever they are and soaking up sun, surf and fun as often as possible.
